Clicking on Renew results in "You cannot prolong the subscription at this time" message

For users with perpetual licenses whose support has expired more than 90 days ago, or for subscribers whose subscription has expired more than 30 days ago, an extension of the existing maintenance or subscription is not available.

In this case, the perpetual license may continue to be used for any version supported by the original key, but using newer versions will require acquisition of a new perpetual license (which will then come with 1 year of support) or a new subscription.
